Question 481125: Could someone please help me; there is an up coming Algebra test next week about the basics of Algebra. I dont have an all too good Algebra teacher, as I asked him what he meant, he told me to think about it. Question 483795: Hi, I am 10, in grade 5 and am working with fractions so this is all new to me. My math question is how to work out the following:
1) calculate 4/5 of 7kg.
2) 3/4 of 5km.
3) 4/6 of 2 days.
4) 6/7 of 63litres.
5) 5/8 of R960
6) 5/6 of 3hrs
7) 9/12 of 132
If you can please explain how to work these out, I would be very grateful.

Question 492405: For my homework i have to convert 38 inches to miles using two unit multipliers. I thought of going from inches to feet to miles. So far I have set the problem up as 38in./1 * (blank)/1 in. As you can see I'm not sure what goes above 1 inch or how to finish the problem.
