Whenconverting, note how the units cancel out.
Examples:
converting 24 inches to feet:
24+inches%28ft%2F12+inches%29=2+ft
note how inches will cancel out; whereas, if you reversed the conversion it would not.
..
converting 3 feet to inches:
3+ft%2812+inches%2Fft%29=36+inches
note how ft will cancel out
..
converting 1000 ft to miles
1000+ft%28mile%2F5280+ft%29=%281000%2F5280%29+mile≈0.189394.. mile
..
converting 0.189394.. mile to feet
0.189394+%28mi%29%285280+ft%2Fmi%29+=1000 ft
etc.
