Question 697270: simplify %28%281%2F7%29-%281%2Fx%29%29%2F%28%28x%2F7%29-%287%2Fx%29%29
my work:
find a common denominator= 7x
get %28x-7%29%2F%28x%5E2-49%29
%28x-7%29%2F%28x-7%29%28x%2B7%29
cross out the two (x-7) and you are left with x+7.
I'm not sure if my work is correct.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Looks pretty good to me!!!
Cancel out x-7 from numerator and denominator as you did and you are left with 1/(x+7)---not (x+7) but I'm sure that's what you meant.
