You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for x and y
2/3 - 2yi = 2x + 4/5:
:
First get rid of the these annoying denominators, mult eq by 15, results:
10 - 30yi = 30x + 12
:
Solve for x:
10 - 12 - 30yi = 30x
-2 - 30yi = 30x
:
Divide thru by 30
-2/30 - yi = x
Or
x = -yi -1%2F15
:
:
Solve for y:
-30yi = 30x + 12 - 10
-30yi = 30x + 2
:
We want y to be positive, mult eq by -1:
30yi = - 30x - 2
:
Divide thru by 30i
y = (-x/i) - (2/30i)
y = -x%2Fi+-+1%2F%2815i%29
