-3u+=+u%2Au Now divide both sides by u.
-3u%2Fu+=+u%2Au%2Fu Now you can see that you can cancel the u's on both sides to get:
-3+=+u

-3u+=+u%5E2 Substitute u+=+-3
%28-3%29%28-3%29+=+%28-3%29%5E2
