common denominator is (x+1)(x-2)
3x(x-2)+4(x+1)=3(x-2)(x+1)
3x^2-6x+4x+4=3(x^2-x-2)
3x^2-2x+4=3x^2-3x-6
-2x+4=-3x-6
x=-10
check
-30/-9 +4/-12=3
3 1/3 - (1/3)=3
