Question 973354: What is the conjugate of -2%2Fi%5E3 ?
I understand what a conjugate is, and I understand that an imaginary number is the square root of a negative number but, I don't understand how you can cube an imaginary number.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
-2%2Fi%5E3=-2%2F%28-i%29=2%2Fi
We can multiply by i/i and get%28i%2Fi%29%282%2Fi%29=2i%2F%28-1%29=-2i
i%5E3=i%2Ai%2Ai or i%5E2%2Ai
i%5E2 is defined as -1, so-1*i=-i
However, you can only find the conjugate of a binomial:
you must have two terms.
