yes you are doing it right. YOu made sure to account for the sqrt%28-1%29=i

a mistake often made is to combine root ie sqrt%28-2%29%2Asqrt%28-36%29=sqrt%28%28-2%29%2A%28-36%29%29=sqrt%2872%29 this is not correct, the way you did it is right
