You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's a quadratic equation with mixed number coefficients.
First, make the mixed numbers into fractions.
6%2B2%2F3=20%2F3
1%2B1%2F3=4%2F3
-%2820%2F3%29x%5E2%2B%284%2F3%29x=2%2F3
Now multiply by -(3/2) to get rid of fractions and get to simplest form,
10x%5E2-2x=-1
10x%5E2-2x%2B1=0
Use the quadratic formula,
x+=+%282+%2B-+sqrt%28+2%5E2-4%2A10%2A1+%29%29%2F%282%2A10%29+
x+=+%282+%2B-+sqrt%28+4-40+%29%29%2F20+
x+=+%282+%2B-+sqrt%28+-36+%29%29%2F20+
x+=+%282+%2B-+6i%29%2F20+
highlight%28x+=+%281+%2B-+3i%29%2F10+%29
where i=sqrt%28-1%29
