*Note : -25 + 3 is not all in the radical, only -25.
i do know how to solve this far:
the square root of -25= 5i + 3
*so how do you add this?

You are correct. sqrt%28-25%29%2B3=5i%2B3. You can't add the terms since they are not like terms.
