Real part of the left side = Real part of the right side

and

Imaginary part of the left side = Imaginary part of the right side



This means that


3x=15 and 8yi=-32i


So 3x=15 ---> x=5

and 8yi=-32i ---> 8y=-32 ---> y=-4


So x=5 and y=-4
