Take natural logs of both sides:

ln%28e%5E%28x%2B7%29%29=ln%282.91%29

%28x%2B7%29ln%28e%29=1.068153081
%28x%2B7%29%281%29=1.068153081
x%2B7=1.068153081
x=-5.931846919
