Question 1108396: Kindly help please. The total voltage of first circuit is (9 + 3i) volts. The total voltage of a second circuit is (5 - 2i) volts. We need to find the ratio of the total voltage of the first circuit to that of the second circuit. Does it mean, we're going to divide? After I divided the 2 voltages (I used the conjugate of the second voltage), I got (39 + 33i) / 29. Is that the ratio already? Or should it be like in the form "first circuit is to second circuit"? You can put this solution on YOUR website!
That is the ratio.
You are starting with which is the ratio. The fact you multiply the top and bottom by the conjugate just changes the form.
