Question 657003: Would you please help us by showing the steps to get the correct answer to the following problem? The curriculum says the answer is -12, but we are not getting that answer.
-3/4/ + 7 * 0 =
negative three times absolute value of four plus seven times zero equals ?
We thought that -3 times absolute value of 4 was -12, then add 7 to get 5, then times 0 would be 0, but we were wrong.
