Question 704621: We were learning about translations in class last Friday. I'm just generally confused about what it is and how to solve problems like the one below:
Graph the function y = [x] +2 by translating y = [x].
I usually understand concepts right away but I couldn't focus in class that day, and the examples in the book aren't helping.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Take the graph of y = [x] and shift the entire thing up 2 units to get y = [x]+2
