If you mean |2x-5| < 20
then you get an "AND" answer
---
-20 < 2x-5 < 20
Add 5 along the line.
-15 < 2x < 25
-7.5 < x < 12.5
----
If you had |2x-5| > 20 you would get
an "OR" answer:
-----
2x-5 < -20 OR 2x-5 > 20
----
2x < -15 OR 2x > 25
x < -7.5 OR x > 12.5
