You can put this solution on YOUR website! the absolute value of 1-x/3 greater than or equal to 2/3.
:
|1-| =>
Remove the abs and solve for x
1- =>
Get rid of those denominators, multiply both sides by 3
3(1-) => 2
first solution
3 - x => 2
-x => 2 - 3
-x => -1
multiply both sides by -1, this reverses the inequality sign
x =< 1 is the first solution
and
2nd solution
3 - x =< -2, note the inequality sign is reversed
-x =< -2 - 3
-x =< -5
multiply both sides by -1, this reverses the inequality sign
x => 5 is the 2nd solution
:
summary: x =< 1 and x => 5
