I believe your answers are x=11 and x=-3 because once you solve for the first one you have to make a negative equation so you would put: |x-2|-2=NEGAT

Add 2 to both sides to get:
|x-2| = 9
----
Therefore the x-2 must be 9 or it is -9
---
Solve:
x-2 = 9 or x-2 = -9
x = 11 or x = -7
