You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the ratio of the area is equal to the square of the ratio of the sides.
if the sides are in a ratio of 1.5 to 1, then the area is in a ratio of (1.5/1)^2 which is equal to 2.25

since that is not one of your answers, you have to get creative in order to make your answer look like one of their answers.

1.5 / 1 is the same as 3 / 2.

(3/2)^2 is equal to 3^2 / 2^2 which is equal to 9/4.

the solution is selection b.

another way to do it is to just get the decimal equivalent of their answers to see if any of them match up with your answer which is already in decimal format.

9/4 = 2.25 - that's the one !!!!!
