I worked out the volume which is 448.9 in3
I don't know how to do the percentage part

volume of basketball = 4/3 *pi *r^3 = 4/3 *pi *(9.5/2)^3 = 448.9 cubic inches
volume of cube = (9.5)^3 = 857.4 cubic inches
percentage of basketball that fills box is 448.9 / 857.4 = 0.524 = 52.4 %
