You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the square tank wall has a depth
of 3m and a diagonal of 5m, to find the base
consider a right angled triangle with
vertical side = 3m
Diagonal or Hypotenuse = 5m
To find the base the formula:
vertical side^2 + base^2 = hypotenuse^2
base^2 = hypotenuse^2 - vertical side^2
Base^2 = 5^2 - 3^2
Base^2 = 25 - 9
Base^2 = 16
Base = sqrt%2816%29
Base = 4m
Now surface area = 4*(3*4) = 48m^2
Plus 4*4 = 16m^2
This is the 4 sides plus the base.
Total = 64m^2
At 50 tk per sq metre
=> 50*64= 3,200 tk
Hope this helps.
