The Radius if the smaller cylinder is half the radius of the Larger cylinder.
The volume of the smaller cylinder is 200cm^3.
Find the volume of the larger cylinder.

the volume of a cylinder is given by the equation
V = pi times radius squared times the height
in other words area of the circle times the height of the cylinder equals the volume
we know from the problem that the radius of the smaller cylinder is 1/2 the larger one's and that the volume of the smaller cylinder is 200 cubic centimeters
from this we get that the area of the circle for the smaller cylinder is 1/4 that of the larger's circle area BUT that is all - we can not determine the volume of the larger cylinder
