The Law of Cosines is very useful when it comes to trig problems. It comes in 3 forms, c%5E2=a%5E2%2Bb%5E2-2ab%28cos%28C%29%29, a%5E2=b%5E2%2Bc%5E2-2bc%28cos%28A%29%29, and b%5E2=a%5E2%2Bc%5E2-2ac%28cos%28B%29%29. The lowercase letters are the sides and the uppercase letters are the angles. Each side is opposite its corresponding angle. An example is shown here. This law will come in use during trigonometry.
