Question 973076: really need some help with this
Using the info given, solve for the missing value of the right triangle. Round each angle to the nearest degree, each length to the nearest tenth, & each trigonometric value to four decimal places, if necessary.
Opposite side = 14 in.
Adjacent side = 22 in.
cos θ = ?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If want cosine, h for hypotenuse,
22%5E2%2B14%5E2=h%5E2
h=sqrt%2822%5E2%2B14%5E2%29

cos%28theta%29=adjascent%2Fhypotenuse

cos%28theta%29=22%2Fsqrt%2822%5E2%2B14%5E2%29
Simplify or compute to whatever accuracy you want and then find arc whose cosine is that computed value for cosine.

cos%28theta%29=0.84366, or if you want to four places,
highlight%28cos%28theta%29=0.8437%29
