(sinx+cosx)^2=1+2sinxcosx
I've got my handy little list of trig identities here, but I'm not sure where to go with it.
(A+B)^2 doesn't equal A^2 B^2, which makes me unable to work with the Pythagorean identities...
An explanation of the steps would be helpful, if applicable.
