You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y%22%22=%22%22-pi%2F3%2Bsin%282x%2Bpi%29

We factor out the 2

y%22%22=%22%22-pi%2F3%2Bsin%282%28x%2Bpi%2F2%29%29

The basic graph is

y%22%22=%22%22sin%28x%29 graph%28400%2C100%2C-.5%2C2pi%2C-1.1%2C1.1%2Csin%28x%29%29

Then x was replaced by 2x, which caused the graph to shrink horizontally
by a factor of 2.

y%22%22=%22%22sin%282x%29 graph%28200%2C100%2C-.5%2Cpi%2C-1.1%2C1.1%2Csin%282x%29%29

Then x was replaced by %28x%2Bpi%2F2%29 which caused a left shift of pi%2F2,
or the horizontal shift is -pi%2F2

y%22%22=%22%22sin%282%28x%2Bpi%2F2%29%29 graph%28200%2C100%2C-.5-pi%2F2%2Cpi%2F2%2C-1.1%2C1.1%2Csin%282x%2Bpi%29%29

Then -pi%2F3 was added to the right side which caused a vertical shift
of pi%2F3 units down or a vertical shift of -pi%2F3

y%22%22=%22%22-pi%2F3%2Bsin%282%28x%2Bpi%2F2%29%29

You only asked about the horizontal shift and the vertical shift.

The horizontal shift is -pi%2F2, a left shift

The vertical shift is -pi%2F3, a downward shift.

Find the exact horizontal and vertical shifts of this function (don't use decimals in the answer(s))
y= -(pi/3)+sin(2x+pi)
----
vertical shift: -pi/3
----
horizontal shift: = pi/2
