Question 78648: Graph the problem: y=3sin2x
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph the problem: y=3sin2x
--------
Draw a sine curve on an xy coordinate system
The 2x means the Period is 2(pi)/2= pi instead of 2pi.
So put "pi" on the x axis at the end of the 1st period, 2pi at the end of the
2nd period, etc.
The 3 means the amplitude is 3 instead of 1.
So mark your y-axis accordingly. The curve rises a maximum of 3 and
decends a maximum of -3.
