Trigonometric ratio.
A right angled triangle.
Opposite - height of building
Adjacent - 100mm
Angle of elevation - 38.7 degrees
Tan 38.7 = opposite/100mm
Tan 38.7 x 100mm = opposite
Height of building = 80.1mm
Don't you mean metres? mm - millimetres
If it was metres then building would
be 80.1 metres high.
