You can put this solution on YOUR website! In which quadrant is theta if sin theta is less than 0 and cos theta is greater than 0? The y-coordinate represents the sin function and the x-coordinate represents the cos function.
From this observation, you should be able to see that sin<0 and cos>0 in quadrant IV

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Sine, cosine, and tangent in the four quadrants have different results. For example, if we were to place a 30-60-90 triangle where the 90 degree is on the origin in each of the quadrants, the results are the following: Quadrant I - Sine, cosine, and tangent are all positive.
Quadrant II - Sine is positive, cosine and tangent are negative.
Quadrant III - Sine and cosine are negative, tangent is positive
Quadrant IV - Sine and tangent are negative, cosine is positive.
The quadrant that most fits your description is Quadrant IV since sin theta should be less than 0 and cos theta should be greater than 0.
 Hope this helped!
