Question 55025: Sketch the graph of y=tan(x-pi) without using a calculator. What is the period and where are the asymtopes?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Sketch the graph of y=tan(x-pi) without using a calculator. What is the period and where are the asymtopes?
-------
The -pi moves the graph of y=tan x pi to the right.
The period does not change; it is still pi.
For y=tan x the asymptotes are -(pi/2), +(pi/2), and every pi
and -pi to the right and to the left. But the curve has been
moved pi to the right. The asymptotes have not changed; they
are still -(pi/2), Pi/2, (3/2)pi, etc.
Cheers,
Stan H.
