y = -3sin (2x+3.14/2)

I assume you want the plot of this equation. Note -3 is the amplitude (inverted because of the negative sign. 2 is the radian frequency (in radians/sec) and 3.14/2 is the phase shift which in this case is 180/2=90 degrees (pi=180 degrees)
