: A=1/2acsinB
A=1/2(20)(15)sin132
I can figure it out to this point but when I calculate this as is straight across, I always end up with a number way off. What am I missing?

Answer by feliz1965(151)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We can see that a = 20, c = 15 and sin132 is given.
You may need to round your decimal answer.
What does your textbook say to do?
You need to find sin132 first and then multiply sine value that by 1/2 times 20 times 15.
Try that and see what happens.
==============================
I received your e-mail. To find sin132, you need a scientific calculator.
Enter 132 and then press the sine key.
sin132 = 0.743144825
We can now multiply this by 1/2 x 15 x 20 to find the area. By the way, you can also use 0.5 for 1/2 because it means the same thing.
Area = 111.4717238
If you round this decimal number to the nearest tenths, we get area = 111.5

I am waiting for your reply. Do you get it now?
