First step is cross-multiply.
Second step is to open parentheses, combine like terms and simplify.
After simplifying, your equation, quadratic from the first glance, becomes LINEAR, actually.
For linear equation, you find the solution in very easy way.
The last thing to check is to assure that the solution, which you found,
does not make the denominators equal to zero, i.e. belongs to the domain of the original equation,
where left side and right side are both correctly defined.
