Question 810599: Find are of Triangle STU. It is a right triangle, I don't know how to do that on here. But the 'height' is missing, the hypotenuse is 12, and the base is 4. I did a^2 + 4^2 = 12^2 and get a^2 + 16=144
So 144-16=128
a^2=128
+sqrt+%28+128+%29+ is +sqrt+%2864%2A2%29+ which is 8+sqrt+%28+2+%29+. But 8*4 +sqrt+%28+2%29+ is 32 +sqrt+%28+2+%29+ and the answer key says it's 16 +sqrt+%28+2+%29+
