Question 476175: Find the value of x and classify triangle ABC as equilateral, isosceles or scalene.
Perimeter: 75
Length of segment AB : 4 x + 13
Length of segment BC : 12 x − 11
Length of segment AC : 11 x − 8
So I drew out the different triangles.
I also put the line segments in an equation to equal 75, but I had trouble because not the line segments do not have an equation for just one line.

Question 478127: How do I square root (without using a calculator) a number when every time I factor it, I get all prime numbers and no pairs. For example, I can factor the square root of 448 to be 8 square root of 7. But when I tried to factor out 410, I got 4, 2 & 41. So do I just leave the answer as "the square root of 410"? Find the perimeter, and area of the right triangle with one leg 5cm, and the other leg 12cm.
sqrt(5^2+12^2)=13cm
perimeter=12+5+13=30cm
area=(1/2)5*12=30cm
