Question 357651: Hello,
Please help me with the following problem, I did work it but I am not sure if it is right.
1. Find the perimeter and area of a right triangle if one leg measures 14 mi. and the other leg measures 48 mi.
MY ANSWER:
C^2=A^2+B^2
c^2=14^2+48^2
c^2=196+2304
C^2=2500
c=50 miles
--------------------
P=50+14+48
P=112 miles
----------------
A=.5lw
A=.5*14*48
A=336 sq miles
