Question 1116732: An airplane uses a radio beacon transmitting from an airport to determine how far off course it is from its flight plan to the airport. The pilot takes his first reading and finds that an angle to the beacon o be 25 degrees. Ten miles later the pilot reads the angle to be 49 degrees. How far away is the beacon, and hence the airport, at the time of the seconding reading?

Question 1117101: What is the surface area of this square pyramid?
Height = 7 cm
Base = 4 cm
I got 74.24 and rounded it to the nearest tenth which would be 74.2. However this isn't the correct answer. Could someone please help? I googled and find some mentions of slanted heights if this might be the case of this equation. Thanks.
Here's an image of the square pyramid for reference in case I missed something: https://i.imgur.com/thZWoNu.png

Question 1117342: *I don't know how to add pictures on here, if anyone could help that'd be great!*
So I have a triangle (△PQR) and it's perimeter is 40.
In △PQR, there is an angle bisector (PL).
Given: Perimeter of △PQR = 40; LR = 15; LQ = 9
FIND PQ
The answer is 6.
My problem is I don't know how to get the answer 6. I do know you have to do a proportion but from all the numbers I've tried, haven't been able to get 6.

Question 1117483: Determine if the following sides could construct a triangle. If so, classify them as acute, right, or obtuse.
a.) 76, 120, 39
b.) 252, 104, 85
I know both of these are NOT TRIANGLES, but my work shown doesn't add up to how these numbers are not triangles
