the area of a triangle is found by multiplying the base (bottom side) by the height (bottom to top point) and dividing by 2

The formula for the area of a triangle is highlight%28A=%281%2F2%29bh%29, A=area, b=base, and h=height.
There are other ways to find the area if you're in trig or geometry.
