Question 858545: I have the graph of y=(1/4)^x. I need to rewrite it showing a reflection about the x axis and a dilation of 2. And then redraw the graph. Is this the correct way to rewrite it 2* -(1/4)^x? I think I know how to do the reflection but don't know how to show dilation and reflection at same time.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2*(1/4)^x
Reflection means multiplying times (-1).
Dilation by a factor of 2 means multiplying times 2.
The end result is multiplying times (-2).
