MY EFFORT: 2L+b=25
L=6+b 2(6+b)+b=25
12+3b=25
-12 -12
3b= 13
B= ??????

side2=b
side3=c
side 1 is 6 inches longer than the second side
a=6+b
b=b
side3 is 5 inches shorter than the second side
c=b-5
*notice that now all the lengths are using the variable b
25=a%2Bb%2Bc
25=%286%2Bb%29%2B%28b%29%2B%28b-5%29
25=3b%2B1
24=3b
b=8
We knoq side2 is 8.
side1 is 6 inches longer than side2, so side1 is 14.
side3 is 5 inches shorter than side2, so side3 is 3
The length of the sides are 14,3,8.
