I have to make measurements as well as finding out the area and volume. Please help, what measurements can I use and what would teh surface area and volume be? The tent has a triangle face at both ends so you need to measure the length of the base of a triangular face and the distance between the triangular faces.
Also, average height of an adult male in the USA is 69.2 inches, I suggest you use 70 inches for the height of the triangular face.
Volume is the area of a triangular face (1/2 * base * height) times the distance between the two triangular faces.
Surface area = 2 times the area of a triangular face plus the areas of the three rectangular faces.
to convert inches to cm just multiply by 2.54
