Question 69726: Alright, i have a Right triangle (ABC) and im doing a some basic trig, such as sine cosine and tangent. angle C is 72 deg, angle B is 90, BC is 5, and AB is app 15.39. using either tan, cos or sin, i have to find the hypotenuse, the problem is i was never taught how to solve with the variable on the bottom. how do i do it. please do not simply give me the answer because it is homework and that wouldnt be right. if you caould help tha'd be great.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
angle C is 72 deg, angle B is 90, BC is 5, and AB is app 15.39. using either tan, cos or sin, i have to find the hypotenuse,
------------------
Draw and picture; label the angle and side values.
You say AB is approximately 15.39; if that is its
actual value sin72 = 15.39/hyp
Then hyp = 15.39/sin72
hyp = 16.18...
