You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The formula for the area of a triangle is:
A+=+%281%2F2%29%2Ah%2Ab

Take the information you have in the problem, and substitute.
A = 54
b = 12

So, the problem looks like this:
54+=+%281%2F2%29+%2A+h+%2A+12

Simplify the right hand side of the equation by multiplying 1/2 and 12.
54+=+6+%2A+h

Then divide both sides by 6, since division is the opposite of multiplication.
9+=+h

So, the height is 9 inches.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let one angle=x
2nd angle =x+58
x+x+58=180
2x+58=180
x=16
x+58=y
