Question 636583: I am going to put blocks under the head of my bed to raise it. I need to know how high a second set of legs need to be. In reference to the triangle, the length of the bottom is 71". The right side (at at 90 degree angle) is 3.5" tall. How high is the top side of the triangle 14" in from the right side. (I am guessing maybe 2", but would like confirmation.) Thanks.

Is the distance between top and bottom legs 71" ?
I assume you want it at an angle with the head higher than the foot, not and angle side-to-side.

What angle do you want? If you put 2" under the head end, the angle will be
asin(2/71) =~ 1.6 degrees
