If it is a right angle triangle then the Pythagorean theorem will prove to be true i.e. the hypotenuse (the longest side) can be accurately calculated from the measurements of the other two sides using the theorem.
Let us call the hypotenuse 'c' and the other two sides 'a' and 'b'
The theorem states that c%5E2+=+a%5E2+%2B+b%5E2
so in this case:
145%5E2 should be equal to: 17%5E2+%2B+144%5E2
145%5E2+=+21025
17%5E2+%2B+144%5E2+=++289+%2B+20736+=+21025

As both are equal then there is indeed a right angle.
