Let's say side C is 43, how would i find sides A and B?

Using the pythagorean theorem, a%5E2%2Bb%5E2=c%5E2, we can say that if side A = x, B = x (note: A = B because this is an isosceles triangle) and C = 43, then


a%5E2%2Bb%5E2=c%5E2

x%5E2%2Bx%5E2=43%5E2

2x%5E2=1849

x%5E2=1849%2F2

x%5E2=924.5

x=sqrt%28924.5%29

x=30.4055915910216

So A and B are roughly 30.4055915910216 units long

Use A/SinA = B/SinB = C/SinC


If C is the side opposite 90 then it's:


43/sin90 = 43 = A/Sin45 = B/SinB (A=B)= x/.707106 | multiply both sides by .707106
x=30.41 =A=B
