IS THIS A TRIANGLE? AND WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR -- AREA OR PERIMETER?

I think you probably need to find the area (A) of the triangle with a base (b)of 9in. and a height (h) of 2 ft.
The first thing I noticed is that the base is measured in inches and the height is measured in inches. We need them both to be the same. 12in=1ft, so 2 ft= 24in.
The formula for the area of a triangle is:
A=1/2(bh)
A=1/2(9 in)*(24 in)
A=108 in^2 (square inches)
If you need it measured in feet A=3/4 ft^2 (square feet)
Let me know if you need to see how I got the square feet answer and I'll edit my answer. It's harder to do it that way---I showed you the easier way.
Happy Calculating!!!
