You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can draw an altitude from one vertex to the base. Using the fact that the two triangles are 30-60-90 triangles, you can conclude that the base is 4 (half of it is 2) and the altitude is 2sqrt(3). The area would be 4sqrt(3).

Or, you could say that the area is 4*4*(sin 60)/2 = 8 sin 60 = 4sqrt(3).
