Hint: If you have a 45-45-90 triangle with a leg of length 'x', then the hypotenuse is x%2Asqrt%282%29


Conversely, if you know the hypotenuse of a 45-45-90 triangle, call it 'h', then the two equal legs are equal to h%2Fsqrt%282%29
