Question 392317: each base angle of an isosceles triangle has a measure of 30 degrees. If the length of the base is 36,what is the height of the triangle? Answer by NancyLam(35) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! the base is 36/2=18 (half triagle)
now has 2 triangle each triangl has (30,90,60 degrees)
use tan to find the height
tan30=height/18
height= tan30 x 18
= 0.58 x 18 (use caculator for tan)
height= 10.4
